The SYNCHRONIZED SYSTEM allows to syncronize TX and RX of the couple of photocells only if the power supply is ac . This allows to install 2 couples of photocells with both the TX on the same side without any interference.

The ENCODED SYSTEM means that each couple of photocell can work with a proper frequency ( up to 4 different frequencies selectable with 2 jumpers) . This allows to install up to 4 couples along the same axis. The ENCODED SYSTEM doesn't depend by the power supply ac or dc.
